In short

This website uses no cookies and no analytics or tracking tools, and it doesn’t load any content from third-party servers (no external fonts, no embedded videos or maps).

Visiting the website

When you visit the website, the hosting provider processes technically necessary data (IP address, time of access, page requested, browser identifier) in server logs in order to deliver the website and protect it against abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating the site securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The logs are deleted after a short period.

Hosting provider: GitHub, Inc., 88 Colin P. Kelly Jr. Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (GitHub Pages). Data may be transferred to the USA in the process; GitHub is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. GitHub’s privacy statement: docs.github.com.

Contacting us by email

If you write to us, we process the information you provide in order to answer your inquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR). Messages are deleted as soon as they are no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Download

The installation package (ZIP) is provided via GitHub (see hosting provider). When you download it, GitHub processes technically necessary data such as your IP address.

Purchase

Ordering, payment and invoicing are handled by Stripe as reseller (“Merchant of Record”, Stripe Managed Payments). Stripe’s privacy policy applies: stripe.com/privacy. We receive your name, email address, the tier purchased and the order number from Stripe so that we can send you your license key and help you with any questions (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). We keep this data for the lifetime of the license and for the statutory retention periods.

The NetDoc software

NetDoc runs on your own server. The data you document there never leaves your server and is not transmitted to us. The license key is verified locally, without any connection to us.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object. To exercise these rights, please contact us at the address above. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (www.dsb.gv.at).
